HOPE tattoo quilt PDF pattern

HOPE tattoo quilt PDF pattern

Sailors had swallow tattoos as a symbol of HOPE. When they saw swallows out at sea they knew that they were close to land, and that their treacherous journey was nearing an end, and reaching their destination safely was imminent. When designing this block I wished for this same hope & safety for all those around the world that have recently become displaced by war and politics, that are on treacherous journeys to try and find a safe place to live for their families.

With all the craziness going on in the world at the moment it's easy to lose hope. This block is a reminder that we can give others hope by being kind and respectful to them.

LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE (Note no Y-seams on this one, but some tiny piecing and tricky angles.)

SIZE: 20" x 15" with borders. (10" x 16" without.)

This pattern was an absolute delight to work with! It is drafted very well, and comes together beautifully thanks to top-quality instructions and notations. Really remarkable in terms of ease of use and explanation, moreso than many other FPP patterns. Look forward to purchasing more of your patterns and making all the pretty things! Thank you SO much for all the time and attention to detail that you obviously put into this to make it easy for all of us makers to follow!

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS for cut and sew kits:

Do not wash the fabric provided in your kit prior to assembly. It will cause the fabric to shrink and the pieces may not match up afterwards. For the baby stuffies and book: Once you have completed your Happy Sew Lucky project, you can machine wash it in warm water and line dry it. We don’t recommend washing the kits that have additional pieces hand-stitched on (eg: Angel, Santa, Birds) as these may tear or come off during machine washing.

POSTING A PICS OF HAPPY SEW LUCKY PROJECTS ON YOUR BLOG:

I’d love you to share the love. But let us know so that we can link to your blog, and share the love back.
